Westchester Modular Homes of Fairfield County, a Scalzo Group company, has been working with shoreline homeowners to help them rebuild their homes damaged almost 3 years ago by Hurricane Sandy.  The company is one of two authorized modular home builders approved by the Connecticut Department of Housing’s Community Development Block Grant which has provided funding to the victims of the storm.  To date, Westchester Modular Homes of Fairfield County has built more than a dozen homes along the coast from Greenwich to Milford providing homeowners with a faster build time and more cost controls over traditional stick built homes.   The company was recently featured in an article by the Hearst line of newspapers spotlighting their efforts.
